Forklift tire are critical components for the normal and safe operation of forklifts. Due to continuous friction, forklift tire will withstand severe use tests. Replacing forklift tire has also become a routine operation in the daily use of forklifts. So forklifts are so heavy, how can we safely replace forklift tire? Please see the following notes:
1. When jacking up the forklift, make sure that the jack is firmly seated. Do not crawl under a jacked forklift.
2. Do not disassemble and assemble forklift tire, tubes and rims or inflate the tires on the forklift. These operations require very professional skills training to complete.
3. Be sure to jack up the forklift at the specified jacking position.
4. Raise the forklift to the extent that the tires are still slightly in contact with the ground, and place a block under the frame to prevent it from falling. When replacing front tires, place chocks at the front. When replacing rear tires, place chocks at the rear.
5. For tires with split rims, never loosen the rim attachment bolts and nuts.
6. After decompression, be sure to loosen the hub nuts of tires with split rims and do not work on the side of the tire.
7. When installing replacement tires, inspect them thoroughly. Do not use tires with deformed or cracked rims.
8. Adjust the tire inflation pressure to the specified pressure. About the correct inflation pressure.
9. After changing the tire, run it around to check for loose rim nuts.
