What Are The Functions And Structures Of The Fuel Injectors In Forklift Parts

The purpose of the forklift injector is to atomize the fuel into fine particles and distribute the fuel reasonably into the combustion chamber according to the shape of the combustion chamber so as to mix and decompose the combustible mixture with the air. The injector can be divided into two types: open type and closed type. The closed injector is divided into two types: hole injector and pin injector. The hole injector is mostly used in the uniform combustion chamber, while the bearing needle injector is mostly used in the separated combustion chamber.


The orifice injector is composed of three parts: the nozzle, the injector body and the pressure regulating device. The number of spray holes is generally 1-8, and the diameter of the spray hole is 0.2-0.8mm.


1. Structure: 

The nozzle is composed of needle valve and needle body. The lower end of the needle valve has a cone surface and the annular cone surface of the lower end of the valve body together to seal, used to cut off or open the high-pressure oil chamber and combustion chamber access. The pressure regulating device is composed of pressure regulating spring lock, washer, pressure regulating screw, lock nut and push rod, etc. In order to make the fuel injectors of multi-cylinder diesel engines consistent, high pressure tubing of the same length should be used.


2. Working process.

Fuel injection.

When the fuel injection pump starts to supply oil, the high-pressure diesel oil enters the injector body from the oil inlet, enters the annular groove of the injector body along the oil channel, and then enters the high-pressure oil chamber below the needle valve body through the inclined oil channel. The high pressure diesel oil ACTS on the cone surface of the needle valve and produces the force of lifting the needle valve upward. When this force overcomes the early warning force of the pressure regulating spring, the needle valve rises upward and opens the oil injection hole, through which the wood is sprayed into the combustion chamber.


Cut-out.

When the injection pump stops supplying oil (due to the decompression effect of the pressure relief ring, the oil valve is seated under the action of the spring), the oil pressure in the high-pressure oil chamber drops suddenly, and the thrust on the tapered pressure of the injector needle valve drops rapidly. Under the action of the spring force, the needle valve quickly closes the injection hole and stops the oil injection.
