It is strictly forbidden to clean or replace the forklift air filter while the engine is running. When the compressed air blows the filter element, the flying dust can enter the eyes, therefore, protective glasses should be worn. If oil, grease or carbon black sticks to the filter element, it should be removed with a filter special cleaner. forklift air filter should be cleaned and replaced more frequently in heavy duty operating environments or conditions.
When cleaning, the filter element should be removed, and dry compressed air with a pressure of 0.69MPA should be blown from the inside of the filter element along the circumference. After blowing out the filter element, reinstall it.
