Internal combustion forklift
Internal combustion forklift refers to a forklift that uses diesel, gasoline or liquefied petroleum gas as fuel and is powered by an engine. The deadweight is 0.5 tons-45 tons. Generally divided into: counterbalanced internal combustion forklift, container forklift (reach crane), side forklift.

Generally divided into three categories:
1. Counterbalanced internal combustion forklift
Generally, diesel, gasoline, and liquefied petroleum gas fuels are used, with a load capacity of 0.5 tons-45 tons, and most of them are diesel forklifts above 10 tons.
2. Container forklift (reach crane)
Using diesel engine as power, it is a kind of crane used to load and unload containers. The carrying capacity is 45 tons.
3. Side forklift
The diesel engine is used as power, and the carrying capacity is 3.0 to 6.0 tons. The fork is installed on the side of the forklift and has the ability to fork goods directly from the side. Therefore, it is mainly used to fork long goods, such as wooden bars and steel bars.
Features
1. Balanced heavy-duty diesel forklifts are large in size, but have good stability and are suitable for heavy loads. The use time is unlimited. The use site is generally outdoors. Compared with gasoline engines, diesel engines have better power performance (not easy to stall at low speeds, overload capacity, strong long-term operation ability), and low fuel costs. However, they have large vibration, large noise, large displacement, heavy weight, high price, and heavy load. The volume can range from 0.5 tons to 45 tons.
2. The counterbalanced gasoline forklift has a large volume, but its stability is good, and it is suitable for heavy load. The use time is unlimited. The use site is generally outdoors. Gasoline engines have small appearance, light weight, high output power, low working noise and vibration, and low prices. However, gasoline engines have poor overload capacity, long-term operation capabilities, and relatively high fuel costs. The load can be 0.5 tons to 4.5 tons.
3. Counterweight Liquefied Petroleum Gas Forklift (LPG for short) is a counterweight gasoline forklift equipped with a LPG conversion device, which becomes an LPG forklift, which can switch between gasoline and liquefied gas through the conversion switch. The biggest advantage of LPG forklifts is good exhaust emissions, carbon monoxide (CO) emissions are significantly less than gasoline engines, low fuel costs (15KG of liquefied gas is equivalent to 20 liters of gasoline), suitable for indoor operations with higher environmental requirements.

Generally, forklifts are mostly balanced forklifts, just like seesaws, so the center of gravity of the load must be found first. This center of gravity is called the load center, which is half the length of the pallet. For example: the size of the tray is
Length (D) 1000mm×Width (W) 1200mm, then the load center is 500mm.
The load center of forklifts is mostly based on 500mm or 600mm, so when you want to know the standard load center of forklifts, you must find out from the specification table or forklift drawing of the forklift. The tonnage of a forklift refers to the maximum load value of the forklift for loading and unloading and handling of goods. It is designed according to the structural strength of each part, the pressure and stability of the hydraulic system, etc. The stability of a counterbalanced forklift is simply the principle of leverage (seesaw). In the critical state, if there is a slight force on the cargo side, the forklift will turn forward. In the vehicle design, the safety factor is generally set to ≥1.4 to ensure the safe operation of the forklift. The load curve table shows the relationship between the allowable load and the load center, in the load table value range. Internal operations can prevent accidents.
The load center directly affects the load capacity. If the load center of the cargo is shorter than the standard load center, it will not affect the load capacity, but when the load center of the cargo is longer than the standard load center, the load capacity is degraded.
For example: the load center of the cargo is 400mm, but the standard load center is 500mm, it will not affect the load capacity. But if the load center of the cargo is 600mm, but the standard load center is 500mm, then the load will be reduced.
