Before the implementation of the project, the design of domestic electric forklifts relied on experience and lacked innovation, and cold storage and cold chain logistics were still in their infancy. The technical problems of domestic electric forklifts for cold storage are mainly reflected in: low work efficiency, poor structural reliability of forklifts under the action of alternating high and low temperatures; poor battery power matching of cold storage forklifts in low temperature environments. This project focuses on the design, strength, and battery working condition matching of energy-saving forklifts for cold chain logistics and has carried out technical research and achieved the following results:
(1) An energy-saving design method for active feedback electric forklifts with multi-sensor fusion is proposed. Completed the design and development of an intelligent control platform based on vehicle feedback electronic control technology, which improved the stability and reliability of the system; developed a dual energy potential energy recovery subsystem, which effectively solved the energy recovery control technical problems. The energy saving of the system is increased by 12% and the lifting speed of the mast is increased by 20%.
(2) The forward design method of forklift structure under extreme environment with large temperature difference is proposed. Propose the forward design theory and optimization method of forklift structure in extreme environment with large temperature difference, establish the forward design method of unified characterization of environment-structural parameters; pioneer electric forklift power steering technology, improve forklift performance, efficiency and comfort, and lightweight forklift 10 % Above, the lifting height of the mast is increased by 30%.
(3) Propose the matching optimization technology of electric power output and forklift operating conditions in low temperature environment. Establish a thermal management model for forklift battery power and invent battery protection devices to achieve optimal matching of power output system, walking system, and lifting system, and increase power output efficiency by more than 10%.

The project has obtained 11 invention patents, 3 national standards, 1 industry standard, 29 papers, and 80 other intellectual property rights. The research and development has completed a variety of series of products, and the results are widely used in cold storage, airports, national major projects and other fields. In the past three years, direct sales of 3.116 billion and export earnings of 103 million US dollars have improved the localization level of energy-saving forklifts for cold chain logistics.
