The forklift piston connecting rod group of the forklift is composed of forklift accessories such as piston, piston ring, piston pin and connecting rod. Let's take a look at the structure and function of the accessories of the forklift piston connecting rod group.
Forklift Pistons. The function of the forklift piston is to withstand the gas pressure in the cylinder and transmit it to the crankshaft through the piston pin and connecting rod. The piston is directly subjected to the action of high temperature and high pressure gas, and performs high-speed reciprocating motion with unequal speed. The piston consists of three parts: the top, the head and the skirt. The top of the piston generally has three types: flat top, convex top and concave top. The top of the piston, the cylinder head and the cylinder wall together form the combustion chamber.
Forklift Piston Rings. Forklift piston rings can be divided into gas rings and oil rings. Generally, each piston of a forklift engine is equipped with 2-3 air rings and 1-2 oil rings. The piston ring has end clearance, side clearance and back clearance, referred to as "three clearances" to prevent thermal expansion from being stuck in the cylinder or expanding in the groove.
