Forklift Brake Lamp Switch

The brake light switch is mounted on the brake pedal and serves as the control switch for the brake lights. It is installed on the brake pedal bracket. When the brake pedal is pressed, the switch is activated, signaling the ECU that braking has occurred. This action disengages the torque converter lock-up clutch, illuminates the brake lights, and helps prevent engine stalling due to sudden brake lock-up of the drive wheels.

Forklift Brake Lamp Switch

The brake light switch transmits brake signals to both the ABS control module and the brake light circuit. It is a dual-switch system, consisting of the brake light switch and the brake detection switch. These two switches send opposite signal values based on the operation of the brake pedal. Under normal conditions, when the brake pedal is pressed, the brake light switch closes the brake light circuit and sends a voltage signal to the brake control system, while the brake detection switch sends a 0V signal. Conversely, when the brake pedal is not pressed, the output signals are reversed.
