The forklift steering axle housing serves as the framework for the steering axle assembly, typically located at the rear axle of the forklift. Its vertical centerline is perpendicular to the axles of the two steering wheels, creating a cross shape. This design enables the forklift's steering wheels to rotate 180 degrees in both directions, facilitating smooth and precise maneuvering.

 

The upper end of the steering axle housing is securely attached to the lower end of the forklift chassis. The rear part of the chassis houses a transmission mechanism and a reduction mechanism, both essential for the forklift's operation.
