Installation and Heat Dissipation of Forklift Diesel Engine Alternator

 

The front end of the alternator of the forklift diesel engine is equipped with a pulley and a fan. The engine drives the rotor shaft of the generator and the fan to rotate together through the belt. When the forklift generator is working, heat will be generated in the stator winding and the excitation winding.

 

If the temperature is too high, the insulation of the wires will be burned and the generator will not work properly, so it is necessary to dissipate heat for the generator. The ventilation and heat dissipation of the generator are completed by the fan. The rear end cover of the forklift generator has an air inlet and the front cover has an air outlet. When the drive belt wheel is driven by the engine crankshaft, the fan on the forklift generator rotor shaft rotates so that the airflow is cooled inside the forklift generator to achieve heat dissipation.
