Check List of Forklift Mast Chain Maintenance

 

1. Check the length difference between the left and right forklift chains. If the length difference is greater than 5mm, it should be readjusted.

2. Check whether the inner and outer links are deformed or cracked. If cracks, deformations, and elongations exceed the specifications, they must be replaced.

3. Inspect the pins of the chain for deformation or corrosion. The abrasion must not exceed 5% of the original diameter. It should be replaced when there is too much abrasion, bending, fatigue cracks, and severe corrosion.

4. Check the mast rollers for cracks, damage, and excessive wear.

5. Check if the mast chain joint is loose or deformed.

6. Check for abnormal noise during operation and whether the chain lubrication is good.
