Forklift Brake Vacuum Booster and Forklift Vacuum Supercharger

The difference between a forklift brake vacuum booster and a forklift brake vacuum supercharger is that the vacuum booster is located between the brake pedal and the brake master cylinder, which is used to increase the strength of the master cylinder. And forklift vacuum supercharge is located between the master cylinder and the wheel cylinder for enhancing hydraulic brake oil displacement. The forklift vacuum supercharger is only for heavy tonnage with 5 tons and above forklifts.

The forklift vacuum supercharger has a vacuum chamber with a large diameter. There is a diaphragm (or piston) with a push rod in the middle, which divides the chamber into two parts, one part is open to the atmosphere and the other part is connected to the engine intake pipe through the pipeline. It uses sucking air when the engine is working, which causes a vacuum on one side of the booster.  This pressure difference is used to help the brake work easily with less strength.
