1. Leakage of forklift hydraulic steering

The location of the oil leakage from the steering wheel of the forklift: the upper cover of the steering gear, the high-pressure steering tubing and joints, the joint between the side end cover, and the steering shaft crank arm. These parts have sealing rings, which can be solved by replacing the new oil seals and sealing rings.

 

2. Turning heavy of forklift hydraulic steering

Through inspection, if it is found that the power oil pressure of the steering gear is low, it means that the reason for the heavy direction is the steering gear. At this time, a professional forklift manufacturer should be asked to carry out repairs. Generally speaking, most of the steering gear failures are caused by the piston, cylinder barrel strain, or damage of the seal ring on the piston, which causes the two chambers of the piston to communicate, so that the boost pressure cannot be effectively established.

 

3. Unilateral steering is heavy of forklift hydraulic steering

In practice, there is often a failure to turn lightly in one direction and heavily in the other direction, which is generally due to leakage of the seal responsible for sealing the high-pressure chamber on one side.

 

4. Both sides are heavy with forklift hydraulic steering

If there are heavy faults in the direction, especially when the direction is heavy on both sides, you should find the reason from two aspects: on the one hand, find the cause of the mechanical part of the direction, if there is no problem with the mechanical part, then find the cause of the steering assistance.

If you turn slowly when turning, the direction is still light. If you make a quick turn in a sharp turn, the direction is immediately heavy. This type of failure is mainly in the booster pump.
