The upper water hose of the forklift water tank is responsible for transporting water from the water tank to the engine block, and the lower water hose returns the cooled water from the engine block to the water tank. When the forklift engine temperature rises, the water pump pumps water into the engine block through the upper water hose to absorb the heat generated by the engine and then sends the hot water back to the water tank through the lower water hose for cooling. When the engine temperature is too high, the thermostat will automatically open to allow more cooling water to enter the engine to lower the temperature. In winter, the system stops water circulation to avoid water freezing in the cooling system, so the upper and lower water hoses play a key role in regulating engine temperature and protecting the engine from low temperatures.
