Forklift Relief Valve

This forklift relief valve is mounted on the forklift multi-way directional valve CDB7, which is a safety valve for the safety forklift hydraulic system. If the pressure of the control valve is beyond normal pressure, the forklift relief valve will release some fluid to keep the hydraulic pressure in the safety range.

 

The working principle of a relief valve is based on pressure balance and mechanical transmission principles. It regulates the flow in a hydraulic system by adjusting to external pressure changes while maintaining its own pressure balance.

 

When the relief valve is closed, no liquid can pass through it into the hydraulic system. When the system pressure exceeds the relief valve's set pressure, the valve opens and allows some liquid to flow out of the system to stabilize the pressure. Therefore, a relief valve is an automatic adjustment device that controls flow at various pressures based on system load changes, ensuring the system pressure remains constant.
