The foot brake assembly of the forklift brake system has two pedals, one is the brake pedal and the other is the clutch pedal. The clutch pedal is connected to the mechanical gearbox. The inching pedal is connected to the hydraulic gearbox. The forklift mechanical transmission case has a separating rod to drive the gearbox separating the fork. And forklift hydraulic transmission has a rocker arm assembly to drive the transmission inching valve.

A forklift inching brake pedal is applied for a forklift with hydraulic automatic transmission. An inching valve on the transmission box is controlled by this inching pedal. The inching pedal is the third pedal of the forklift pedal. Its function is twofold. It initially acts as a brake and secondly disengages the transmission, allowing the engine speed to increase or decrease without affecting the drive of the forklift.
