Keep the battery surface, connectors, and screws clean and dry. If sulfuric acid spills, clean it with a cloth dipped in an alkaline solution, avoiding entry into the battery.

4. Check and Maintain Electrolyte Levels: After charging, check the battery's electrolyte levels and add distilled water to maintain proper levels. Avoid adding sulfuric acid.

5. Ensure Proper Ventilation During Charging: Charge the battery in a well-ventilated area, and keep away from open flames or sparks.

6. Charge After Use: Recharge the battery promptly after use, preferably within 24 hours.
