Forklift Hydraulic Strainer Features

A forklift hydraulic strainer is a coarse filter of hydraulic oil. It is used to coarsely filter the hydraulic oil in the oil suction line. The purpose is to block the abrasive particles generated by various hydraulic components during the working process. After the hydraulic oil passes through the filter screen, it has to go through several filtering processes. Only filtered by the fine hydraulic filter, the clean hydraulic oil can enter the hydraulic system again.

The hydraulic oil filter is mainly made of stainless steel woven mesh, sintered mesh, iron woven mesh, and other materials. Some hydraulic oil screens are single-layer, and some are made of mufti-layer metal mesh and filter material. In specific use, the number of layers and the mesh number of the screen are determined according to different conditions and uses.

The forklift hydraulic strainer should be checked and cleaned every maintenance time. If the abrasive particles block the hydraulic strainer, hydraulic oil flow resistance is enhanced resulting in higher pressure in the line which could lead to safety problems.
