Generally speaking, most engines use two valve springs with different inner and outer diameters installed concentrically for one valve. Since the two springs have different resonant frequencies, this can prevent resonance and improve the reliability of the valve spring. That is, on the one hand, it can prevent the valve from closing tightly due to resonance. When one spring breaks, the other spring can still work and effectively prevent the valve from falling. When two valve springs are installed, the spiral directions of the inner and outer springs should be opposite to prevent the broken spring coil from getting stuck in the other spring coil.
